What is Matter Made of? All matter is made up of tiny particles called atoms. Atoms are so small that a special kind of microscope is needed to see them. How the atoms are arranged and how they move determines what the matter looks like and what form it is.
What are Atoms? Atoms are building blocks of matter that make up objects. There are about 90 kinds of atoms.
