God our Loving Father, as I reaffirm my commitment to reach out and care for my children with the genuine love of a father, please give me the words to help them sort through their feelings and to let them know how really special and loveable they are.

Help me to instill in them the seeds of a positive self- image. I shall try to be your arms for hugging, Your ears for listening, and your heart for loving.

God, our loving Father, I ask You to guide me in the discovery of the uniqueness and wonder of each of my children and be able to give this gift back to them. Thank you for the gift of my child, may they come to know and love You. Amen.
