Modular Dri-Bath Lab Top™ Incubator

ZDL recommends the use of the Lab Top™ Incubator with both its ZSC™, ZSC™II and Multi-ZSC™ (Swim-Up Column) and the SpermPrep™ (Sephadex) Filtration Columns because research has shown that maintaining physiological temperature (37 ⁰ C) of the seminal specimen helps to insure maximal retrieval of healthy, motile spermatozoa. Many variables, such as outside humidity and laboratory heating and cooling systems may adversely increase or decrease the preferred physiologic temperature of the seminal specimen, which may inadvertently prevent the yield of love, healthy spermatozoa.

Lab Top™ Incubator The Lab Top ™ Incubator is compact (6”x7 ¼”x3 ¼”), but has six wells that easily accommodates not only the various ZSC ™ systems and SpermPrep ™ Filtration Columns, but any standard test tube as well. Therefore, the Lab Top ™ can be used for a variety of incubation purposes in you laboratory.

Lab Top ™ Incubator Special Instructions for Setting up your Lab Top ™ Incubator Comments Step by Step 1. Remove from shipping box. 2. Plug in your Lab Top ™ to a functional plug. 3. Switch the HIGH temperature adjustor knob to Set the Low-High button on LOW. 5. Switch the low temperature adjustor knob to slightly below 4 (approximately 3.8). 6. Allow at least hours for equilibration of temperature to take place. 7. Keep Lab Top ™ Incubator on at all times. It uses very little electricity and remains quite stable as you decide to use it. By now your Lab Top ™ Incubator is turned on (the light is on) and has begun to warm the heating block into which you will be placing the ZSC ™ s during incubation. You should allow a few hours, preferably overnight, for your Lab Top ™ to warm up and stabilize the temperature of the block. Keep your Lab Top ™ on at all times. It does not utilize very much electricity and it will always be ready for you when you need it!
