Menderes İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü IT1-LEO

Menderes İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü IT1-LEO Participants suggested to add “physical violence” as a definition of violence. They found realistic the results of the survey. They expressed that sexual abusement mostly exploited as orally and students agitate each other by separating themselves in groups.

Menderes İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü IT1-LEO Regarding to question “where violance mostly takes place” The most popular answer is “ outside of the school”. Participants commented “outside of the school” as the exit from the school place.

Menderes İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü IT1-LEO Generally students prefer outside of the school to improve punishing by a disciplinable offence. It is also reported that the violence in internet mostly reveals in the games of the students.

Menderes İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü IT1-LEO It was stated that silent children are more frequently exposed to violence ( such as taking their money under coercion). It is thought that over-selfconfident children are tended to violence, too.

Menderes İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü IT1-LEO Typical characteristics of an assailant are described as “angry and nervous” by the survey respondents. It is expressed that due to the domestic violence, students perceive beating is something usual.

Menderes İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü IT1-LEO According to the questionnaire results, behaviours such as contempt, taunt and humiliation are indicated as reasons. Participants think especially since children take TV characters as an example, they are more tended to violence. As a result of these surveys it was seen that the ‘cyber bullism’ among the students is significantly growing.

Menderes İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü IT1-LEO These reasons and suggessions were presented regarding to prevent young people’s behaviours including violence: Teachers should be closer to the students. But teachers can not share enough time to the students due to the work load. Parents should care and exhibit their love. Exam system is very effective factor and that take a big part of their time so they can not spend time for social activities.

Menderes İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü IT1-LEO According to the parents, students are not aware that they are behaving in violence and they can not perceive that this is wrong. Parents think that virtual violence has big impact in this situation.

Menderes İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü IT1-LEO These cases were also stated as an example of virtual violence: Hacking facebook password. Changing someone elses profile picture, Misusing and abusing photographs there, Unfavorable correspondence and talks, Complaning on teachers by students.

Menderes İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü IT1-LEO Most frequent virtual violence cases are stated as : Hacking-stealing password, Increasing emotion of hatred in children, Percieving violance as a usual and normal behaviour, Decrease in moral values, Becoming more tended to lie, Degeneracy, Slang habits, Breaking communication between teacher-student- parents, Increasing conflict and gap between generations.

Menderes İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü IT1-LEO These sugessions were offered to prevent virtual violence between young people: Enpowering intra-family communication, Emposing and training consciousness computer using.

Menderes İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü IT1-LEO Finally, participants stated that exam system should be questioned and revised.
