What I learned……

I learned that everyone sees life differently.

I learned that things are not as simple as black (blue) and white!

I learned that life comes in all shapes and sizes.

I learned that life is more fun when you smile.

I learned that everyone needs to be goofy every now and then!

I learned how important friends are.

I learned that life is like an Individual Medley Sometimes things just Fly by….. Other times, they fall Back

But if I stay on my Breast….., I end up FREE at the end.

I learned that when we put our heads together, great things are accomplished.

Greenwich Marlins Achievements 2 Swimmers ranked in the top ten Nationally 2 CT Resident or CT State Record Holders 7 Events where GRYM is ranked #1 in the state 3 Swimmers chosen by CT. to participate in Olympic Training Camp in Colorado

Achievements at YMCA NATIONALS 8 Swimmers qualified for Y Nationals 1 YMCA National Champion

Achievements at USA MEETS 3 qualified for Eastern Zone Championship 15 qualified for CT Senior Championship 27 qualified for Age Group Championship 1 Connecticut Age Group Champion

Achievements at Y New England’s 10 qualified for Y New England’s 5 New England Champions 2 nd Place over all team score for year old girls

Achievements at YMCA Meets 37 Swimmers entered for Y States 12+U 5 Y State Champions 20 Swimmers entered for Y States Y State Champions 63 qualified for Regional Championship 5 Regional Champions

I learned we had a record breaking short course season!

Team Records 6 New 8+U Records 28 New 9+10 Records 25 New Records 19 New Records 27 New Records 37 New Open Age Group Records 106 Total Records set this year! PERSONAL BEST TIMES IN ALL AGE GROUPS TOO MANY TO COUNT!!!

I learned that hard work pays off YMCA Short Course Nationals, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida

I learned that if you work hard, and give your best effort, we all are champions!

I learned that it is not easy at the top.

I learned to say, “THANK YOU” at the end of every practice because you never know when it will be your last time.

I learned to enjoy the things I can control and not worry about the things I can’t control. That’s all for now…..I’ve GONE FISHIN’…. Coach Betsy
