Basic info. H.P. Lovecraft lived from: 9:00 AM Aug. 20, 1890 – March 15, He was born at 194 (now numbered 454) Angell Street in Providence, Rhode Island. He died in Jane Brown Memorial Hospital on March 15, 1937 and was buried 3 days later. Howard Philips Lovecraft’s writing have inspired or configured in some way almost all present Sci-fi and weird fiction literature.

Writings H.P. Lovecraft is probably best known for shadow over innsmouth. Though he has written around 100 books and many articles. He is most renouned for the mythology he created. The figurehead for the mythology is Cthulhu Fhtagn, Cthulhu is described as"...an octopus, a dragon, and a human caricature.... A pulpy, tentacled head surmounted a grotesque scaly body with rudimentary wings", and "a mountain walked or stumbled”.
