Virginia is the name of our state.
North Carolina is south of Virginia.

Kentucky touches Virginia’s western border.
West Virginia touches part of Virginia’s northern border.
Maryland also touches Virginia’s northern border. All of these states are Virginia’s neighbors.
Washington D. C. is the capital of our country.
