Where did it all begin? In 1789 King Louis XVI had called meeting of the Estates General in Versailles to get support for new taxes

Seeds of Revolution This meeting on taxes planted the seeds for the French revolution because the Nobles and Churches did not have to pay taxes

Change of Authority In June of 1789 commoners had enough and declared themselves a National Assembly

We have the Power After creating this National Assembly the commoners gave themselves the power to write an entirely new French Constitution
