 Zebras have stripes and the stripes are black and white.  Zebras have little tails with a puff at the bottom of the tail.  Zebras kind of look like horses.

 Zebras eat grass, grains, and other foods. They drink water.

 Zebras usually live in grassy areas with some shelter.

 Zebras can run at a speed of 35 mph.  That’s amazing!

 A zebra usually lives up to 25 years old.

 Zebras eat for hours and hours and hours!

 Most zebras really like to eat grass and hay.

 When zebras nap they stand up.  But when it’s night time, they lay down but one of them stands guard.

 Zebras kind of sound like donkeys.

 A lady from a zoo helped me. Her name is Ms. Allison Jungheim and she works with zebras at that zoo.  The zebras at the zoo where Ms. Allison Jungheim works are trained to walk on to a scale so the zebras can be weighed.
