W RITERS AND A UTHORS Description - Use imagination to create original stories or other works of writing. Tasks - Create and design plots, characters, settings, and solutions. Interests - Working on computers to compose works of literature. Education - Bachelors degree including English and typing classes. Knowledge - Knowledge of what readers like and dislike. Skills – Must be able to type. Nature of Work – Create original content for books or advertisements etc… Conditions – Works at home or in an office or wherever there is access to a computer, full time, self-employed. Outlook – 6% (Slower than average) Earnings - $55,420 per year $26.64 per hour

C RAFT A RTISTS Descriptions - Use different techniques (welding, needlework, weaving, etc…) to create something new. Tasks - Designing new objects and developing ideas for a new object and create it. Interests - Realistic- frequently involve work activities- usually hands-on problems and solutions. They often deal with real-world materials like wood, plants or animals. Artistic-work with forms, designs and patterns. They often require self-expression and the work can be done without rules or directions.
