Summary Hazel and Jack have been best friends ever since they were six. But Hazel has to go to Jack’s school, and she’s different. She doesn’t have many friends among the other kids, and during recess, Jack plays sports with the other boys. One day something changes, and Jack starts ignoring Hazel. He goes missing, and she starts to worry. She has to venture into the mysterious woods, where he’s been captured by a witch. She has to save him, but how?
