Kindle of Book? By: Emma L.

Kindle of Book? Now with Kindles on the market, readers are stuck. Should they buy a Kindle –and adapt to the changes or read a regular book? I did this power point to show you few pros and cons of having a Kindle or a book.

Kindle Pros With a Kindle you can get books instantly With a Kindle the books you get are on discount You can get games for your Kindle You can pre-order books on the Kindle With a Kindle there is no hussle and bussle with heavy books A Kindle is like a wire-less library Easier to pack on trips

Kindle Cons Doesn’t tell the exact page number Has to be charged Doesn’t have books that the author hasn’t approved Is not helping with Borders’ shouting down Some people say that they need to read with a book in their hand The pictures do not have as high quality The Kindle costs money

Book Pros Ready when you are Can check out from library for free Pictures clearer Can see the cover picture Helps Borders’ stay in business Tells exact page number A book actually shows the dedications, author’s note, etc. Can actually show that you have a big book

Book Cons Books are heavy Hard to pack Lose your page Paper cuts Have to go to the library or store to get To buy it costs money

What do you think? Well I’ve shown you the pros and cons of Kindles and books. Now it’s time for you to vote! Cross out which box you like-Kindle or book and then give me your slips. Then I will count them up and tell which is our classes’ favorite.
