1.What country has the largest column? What are the reasons that you think that this country has the highest amount? The United States has the highest column because it is a developed country and the residents buy more things than needed partially because it is very easy in many areas because there are many stores. 2.What country has the smallest/lowest? What reasons would cause this country to have a low amount? Aruba has the lowest amount because they are undeveloped and they don’t consume as much as other countries. 3.Look at the 5 th and 6 th ranked countries. Are they developed, developing, or one of each? Why do you think that they are where they are in the rankings? Use data to help you answer the question. The 5 th and 6 th ranked countries are both developed and developing. They are where they are in the rankings because they are almost or just barely developed. 4.Look at the 7 th and 8 th ranked countries. Are they developing countries? If so, what do they need to do in order to get to the top half of the rankings? Use data from any information to help you answer the question. The 7 th and 8 th ranked countries are developing. To get to the top half of the rankings, the need to have higher GDP consumption patterns. 5.Name another country (other than the US) that stands out to you on the chart. Describe the country and what type of impact it has on world consumption. Japan stands out on my chart because it is the second highest. The type of impact it has on world consumption is that it makes it considerably higher.

Most of that oil is used as gas for cars. The USA uses more than double the amount of oil that Japan uses. 2.What country has the smallest/lowest? That might be caused by having a small population compared to the other countries on my graphs. 3.Look at the 5 th and 6 th ranked countries. Are they developed, developing, or one of each? They are there because they have a low population, but not as low as the other countries below them. Also, they might not have access to oil. 4.Look at the 7 th and 8 th ranked countries. Are they developing countries? If so, what do they need to do in order to get to the top half of the rankings? Use data from any information to help you answer the question. The 7 th and 8 th ranked countries are developing. In order to get into the top half of the rankings, they must use at least 1 ½ more barrels everyday. 5.Name another country (other than the US) that stands out to you on the chart. Describe the country and what type of impact it has on world consumption. Japan is the second tallest, but is still not even half of the USA. It has a large impact on world consumption, but not nearly as much as the US.

Bangladesh has the smallest/lowest. They are undeveloped so this causes the country to have a low amount. 3.Look at the 5 th and 6 th ranked countries. Are they developed, developing, or one of each? Why do you think that they are where they are in the rankings? Use data to help you answer the question. The 5 th and 6 th ranked countries are Canada(developed) and Chile (developing). They are where they are in the rankings because they have about 1 physician per 100 people. 4.Look at the 7 th and 8 th ranked countries. Are they developing countries? If so, what do they need to do in order to get to the top half of the rankings? Use data from any information to help you answer the question. The 7 th and 8 th ranked countries are developing. In order to get into the top half, they must get more physicians. 5.Name another country (other than the US) that stands out to you on the chart. Describe the country and what type of impact it has on world consumption. Mexico stands out because it is the second highest even though it is undeveloped.
