Powering Up the Writers Workshop Prewriting/Planning This program is supported by a grant awarded by the U.S. Department of Education under the Title II, Part D of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (NCLB)--Enhancing Education through Technology to the Colorado Department of Education.

Outcomes: Answer the question: why prewrite/plan? Teachers will be able to use a variety of prewriting and planning strategies. Teachers will be able to share with their students a variety of prewriting and planning strategies.
