Warm Up Nov. 30 Science Write your homework in your agenda. ****Write this in agenda: Biome quiz is Tues. Dec. 1 (TOMORROW ) and TEST is Thurs. Dec. 3. You have your dark blue study guide!!!! Get a review sheet out of the green folder and complete it. The word bank on the back is for Examples and Characteristics. If you finish before time is called, study your study guide.

Match the labels to the drawings. For example, if the description is for zone A, write A. If the description is for zone B, write B etc. ____1.Intertidal zone: animals must adapt to crashing waves and exposure to air as tides go from low tide to high tide. ____2.Neritic zone: water is warm and receives a lot of sunlight; coral reefs are here. ____3.Oceanic zone: contains the deep water of the open ocean and animals such as whales and sharks ____4.Benthic zone: deepest part, the bottom, gets no sunlight; animals, such as crabs, have adapted to the deep, dark water

Example of marine food chain Phytoplankton Krill zooplankton

Agenda for Nov BLANK review game. 2. Finish your biome map. Hand in. Due by Thursday, Dec Then get a choice sheet from the yellow folder and decide what you want to work on to help you further process the information on biomes.
