#Two God has given us everything we’ll ever need to live out His dreams in us. The key to these things is our knowledge or intimacy with God. Everything that goes into a life of pleasing God has been miraculously given to us by getting to know, personally and intimately, the One…(Msg)

2 Peter 1:4 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

#Three God has given us His exceedingly (extremely, exceptionally) great (immense, grand, enormous) and precious (valuable, prized, expensive) promises (The Bible), to help us become increasingly like Him. We were also given absolutely terrific promises… (Msg)

2 Peter 1:5-7 5 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge self- control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, 7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.

#Four Hearing the word will lead to faith, but faith without works is dead. We must be diligent to follow in God’s steps, for Him to work in us and produce the fruit of the Spirit in us. So don't lose a minute in building on what you've been given, complementing your basic faith…(Msg)

2 Peter 1:8 8 For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

#Five It is possible to be unfruitful in our relationship with Christ! We therefore must wake up, get up, and step up to the grace given, so that we may bear fruit that lasts. With these qualities active and growing in your lives, no grass will grow under your feet… (Msg)

2 Peter 1:9 9 For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.

# Six The root problem is identity, which if not addressed will become a fruit problem. Right believing will lead to right living. We are before we do. Without these qualities you can't see what's right before you, oblivious that your old sinful life has been wiped off the books…(Msg)

2 Peter 1: Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; 11 for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

#Seven When we take up God’s word, trust Him, step out and follow Him, and live out His dreams in us, the last thing on our mind will be doubt as to whether we belong to Him. Do this, and you'll have your life on a firm footing, the streets paved and the way wide open into the eternal kingdom…(Msg)
