The Church is the heavenly Jerusalem! Hebrews 12:22-23 22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, 23 to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, The Church is the heavenly Jerusalem!

Ephesians 5:22-23 22 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. 23 For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. Just as we identify people by their faces and just as in marriage the wife takes on the husband’s identity, so should the church be in Christ.

Ephesians 5:31-32 31 "For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh." 32 This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. The marriage of Christ and church is spiritual, so the two become one spirit.
