 Through evaluation, project implementers can focus more on long term lessons: ◦ What sort of interventions are most effective? ◦ What impact is the project having - postitive or negative? ◦ How is the project affecting various groups? ◦ What lessons can be learnt? ◦ How should future policy and practice be changed? ◦ In summary, the aim is to determine the relevance and fulfilment of objectives, developmental efficiency, effectiveness (Intended & actual), impact and sustainability.

 All stakeholders were informed 2 weeks before  Prepare needed doc viz work plan and annual report  Schedule of field visit sent to all partners  According to the schedule, evaluation team meets with partners intervening in a given sector, with local authorities  Sector authorities have time to brief on partnership

 Partners present their achievements in such sector  Evaluation team ask questions pertaining with what was planned and what was done  Entire team decides on what to be visited on field
