Presents Interceptive and Minor Orthodontic Procedures That General Dentists Can do Themselves Speaker-Instructor: Rob Veis, DDS Sunday, December 6, 2009 Registration 7:00 am to 8 am Program: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Lunch 12:00 to 1:00 pm Embassy Suites Hotel-Anaheim South, Harbor Blvd., Garden Grove, CA Phone: CE Units Free Parking Rob Veis, DDS began practice in 1984 as a solo general dentist, later evolving into a member of a group practice. He taught restorative dentistry for 12 years at USC as a clinical professor. He has lectured and taught nationally on the subject of orthodontic treatment that GPs can and should do in their practices. Many of Dr. Veis’s courses are for AGD audiences that combine orthodontics with restorative dentistry. Program Synopsis There are many instances where minor tooth movement can greatly improve the outcome of restorative and esthetic dental treatments. Often these conditions present themselves during the restorative phase of treatment when referral to an orthodontist could be counter-productive or impractical. Dr. Veis will show us how minor tooth movement with fixed and/or removable appliances can easily be done in a profitable and effective manner and earn the gratitude of many of our patients. Also included will be splint therapy, sports dentistry, sleep apnea and the making of tooth position retention appliances. The Registration Form and Additional Information is on the Other Side For Information and Registration call SCAGD at Southern California Academy of General Dentistry Phillips Accounting (714)
