Faith 07 FAITH COMES BY HEARING

Last Week Recap: 2 Peter 1:1 1 Simon Peter, a bondservant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ The faith we have obtained is the same for all believers; Christ’s own faith, and it’s by His righteousness.

The way we received faith to be born again was by the word. This is the same way we should live. The word causes faith in us to rise. Mark 4:14 14 The sower sows the word. Words are faith seeds. You reap the fruit of what you plant in your heart, positive or negative. When you plant God’s word in your heart, you start experiencing God’s Life (2 Peter 1:4).

2 Peter 1:4 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

We should not be passive about what gets into our hearts; because it determines the what we speak, which determines the quality of life we live.

Expect a harvest based on your seed type! You may not remember what you ate through last year, but it worked! Mark 4:27 27 and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how. Do not ruin the crop by prematurely harvesting it; be patient. Secondly stop planting weed! It bears fruit as well and messes with the crop.

IN SUMMARY 1. Words are faith seeds. Whatever it is you are planting, you’re going to reap. 2. Once we’ve planted, we should trust the system to do it’s thing. It works. 3. We should avoid planting weeds and premature harvests. Both ruin the crop 4. We should boldly step forth and take in the harvest once it’s time.
