Draft After Action Report Based on data collected by the Evaluation Team and feedback provided during the Hot Wash and the Facilitator/Evaluator Debriefing an After Action Report is drafted Analysis of Capabilities Recommendations for improvement Capture of “Best Practices” The AAR Template will be used for this step

Conduct AAR/IP Conference Validation/Acceptance of the Draft After Action Report Discussion of recommendations for improvement and incorporation into Improvement Plan using IP Template Discussion of “Best Practices” and incorporation into Improvement Plan Final Products: After Action Report Improvement Plan

Track Improvement Plan Implementing the Improvement Plan is only the first step…. The progress made in achieving the recommendations detailed in the Improvement Plan must be tracked over time and tested in future exercises
