Operations and Maintenance

CCTV Inspection Unit The Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Inspection Unit identifies the defects in sanitary sewer mainlines and assists in sanitary sewer rehabilitation The Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Inspection Unit identifies the defects in sanitary sewer mainlines and assists in sanitary sewer rehabilitation.

The CCTV Inspection Unit is used to review sanitary mainlines following subdivision development.

The CCTV Inspection Unit performs routine and preventative maintenance on the Collection System.

The operator of the CCTV Inspection Unit can view the inside of mainlines for defects and tap locations during routine and preventative maintenance.

Vacuum Trailer Unit The Vacuum Trailer Unit assists in the removal of debris from sanitary sewer collection lines and manholes.

The Vacuum Trailer Unit removing fallen debris from a sanitary sewer manhole and mainline.

High Pressure Sewer Cleaner The High Pressure Sewer Cleaner performs preventative and routine maintenance on sanitary sewer mainlines with a high pressure water jet that cleans the interior of the sewer.

Preparing the pressure cleaner to be placed into a subdivision mainline for removal of debris.

Lowering the pressure cleaner into the mainline for fallen debris removal.

BackhoeBackhoe The Backhoe is used in the construction and repair of sanitary sewer mainlines, manholes and laterals.

Components of a Sanitary Sewer System

Manhole Looking into a manhole.

Confined Space Fall Protection is required in manhole entry for interior repairs and visual inspection.

Preparing for confined space entry includes the placement of an air monitor in the manhole, setup of a tripod used to lower the employee into the manhole and the employee wearing a harness.

The harness can also be used if for some reason the employee is injured or becomes unconscious he can be safely brought to the surface by his co-workers.

Sanitary Sewer Mainline This is a picture of the inside of an existing sanitary sewer mainline.

Sanitary Sewer Lateral Looking into a sanitary sewer lateral through a cleanout that is located near the home.

Lift Station A Lift Station is used to transport sanitary sewer by pressure, where the ground elevation will not allow gravity flow.

Routine and preventative maintenance is performed on Lift Stations within the Collection System.

Portable auxiliary/emergency generator used to power lift stations during power outages.
