Shift Positions & Scheduling Day 2 Section 4

Shift Positions

Each Operator will be assigned a shift position & rotation to work behind the counter to take care of guests and members. Based on the number of operators working in the club – each operator will work 2.5 days a week behind the counter attending guests and members with rest of time working the DMO. More hours may be needed for club with less operators or less hours with clubs with more operators. When not working behind the counter – each operator must be still working their DMO (Daily Method Of Operation) – Invitation, In-Service, Wellness Profiles, Customer Follow Up, WLC, Opportunity Presentations, etc.

Shift Positions There are THREE Shift Positions in the NC Schedule 1.Duty: Will attend to all guest (FREE) and members (Paid) that is his/her own PLUS all guests and members of operator NOT on shift with his/her own products. 1. Aloe and Tea are already co-op products so the Duty will make all smoothies with his/her own products. 2.Duty will be paid on the members that he/she serves that day. 3.Duty is responsible for opening and closing of the club and balancing out the cash register. 4.Duty is responsible to collect shift closing sheet from Personal to balance out the register. 5.No leaving the club to invite guests while on shift. Wellness Profiles may be done only if club has less than 25 members a day – otherwise they must be scheduled.

Shift Positions 2. Personal: Will attend to his/her own personal invited guests and members while on shift. 1.Aloe and Tea are already co-op products so the Personal will make all smoothies with his/her own products 2.Be willing to offer assistance to Duty using the Dutys products to make the smoothies when necessary at any time as the experience of the guests and members are the PRIORITY. 3.The Personal will be paid for the personal paid members that he/she serves that day. 4.Be responsible to complete Shift Closing shift at the end of his/her shift. 5.Will not leave the club to invite while on shift as the club always needs to have 2 people in the club. Wellness profiles should only be done if the club has less than 25 members a day.

Shift Positions 3.Helper: This position is based on need to cover high volume times for the club. The helper simply comes in for about 3-4 hours to help Duty and Personal and to relief them for lunch. 1.Aloe and Tea are already co-op products so the Helper will make all smoothies with either Dutys or Personals products. 2.Happily attend to guests and members to insure best experience and prompt attention. 3.Be sure order ticket is placed for the appropriate credit for Duty and Personal. 4.Helper does not get paid for any members they help serve that day so he/she do not need to complete Shift Closing sheet.

Shift Positions This allows all operators to work as a cohesive unit and viewing the members belonging to the club as each of us will have an opportunity to attend to all Members of the club. No Operator will be scheduled to be on the same Shift Position back to back. Which means no consecutive Duty days or Personal days. Book Wellness Profiles, Customer follow ups, In-Services on the days that you are not working behind the counter. Use the club to do your DMO. Business Appreciations should be booked on your Personal Shift day. Commit to doing your invitations DAILY. Always welcome all guests and members with the warmth and a smile!!

Shift Scheduling

Scheduling There may be couple scenarios in regards to scheduling based on each clubs set-up. Stations versus no stations such as only partners or operators. Partners or Operators ONLY club will simply be scheduled in rotation along with when each partner/operator can work during the week. Example: Club has 4 Partners, John, Mary, Rich, Alice MonTueWedThursFri D: John P: Mary H: Rich D: Mary P: Rich H: Alice D: Rich P: Alice H: John D: Alice P: John H: Mary D: John P: Mary H: Rich D: Mary P: Rich H: Alice D: Rich P: Alice H: John D: Alice P: John H: Mary D: John P: Mary H: Rich D: Mary P: Rich H: Alice D: Rich P: Alice H: John D: Alice P: John H: Mary D: John P: Mary H: Rich D: Mary P: Rich H: Alice D: Rich P: Alice H: John

Scheduling Club with Stations Owners and Operators can rotate by Station. It is the Station Owners job to make sure the assigned shift for the station is covered by the station operators. The Station owners may decide to split the shift betweens the operators to AM and PM Shifts – IF there are more than 2 people in the station. Example: Club has 4 Stations – Stations 1, 2, 3, & 4 MonTueWedThursFri D: 1 P: 2 H: 3 D: 2 P: 3 H: 4 D: 3 P: 4 H: 1 D: 4 P: 1 H: 2 D: 1 P: 2 H: 3 D: 2 P: 3 H: 4 D: 3 P: 4 H: 1 D: 4 P: 1 H: 2 D: 1 P: 2 H: 3 D: 2 P: 3 H: 4 D: 3 P: 4 H: 1 D: 4 P: 1 H: 2 D: 1 P: 2 H: 3 D: 2 P: 3 H: 4 D: 3 P: 4 H: 1

Note: If the club has 7+ operators – the club may decide to split each shift position to AM and PM shifts to provide more opportunity for all to work Duty, Personal and Help days. For example there would be 2 Duty & 2 Personal each day to cover AM and PM Shifts with possible 2 Helpers as well to cover the 2 rush hours in the club. In this case the Shift Closing Sheet must be completed at each Duty and Personal Shifts with the cash register balanced out at the end of each shift.

Remember: All for One, One for All

Always go the extra mile With passion to serve

Go TEAM! Together Everyone Accomplishes More!
