Atelier for Young Festival Managers 2011

One week rigourous training programme for young festival managers Especially for those working in the field of programming

hands-on and interactive nature built up of a wide range of activities in various formats small workshop sessions as well as conventional (public) lectures and debates Paper sessions Face to face dialogue all zooming in on particular aspects of festival management, including artistic vision, political and social responsibility, internationalization, networking, audience development, renewal and sustainability.

Participants include managers working for festivals and others launching new events. They are asked to present a proposal for a new festival or event, or to suggest how to renew an existing one. These papers that allow a focused selection are used as references during the entire workshop.
