The contents of this Website will provide Instruction, Information and Procedures on Autocad through the use of Visual Cad Lessons. The lessons will be posted and updated throughout the school year. 2 of 11

The CAD lessons will help students continue their Engineering studies beyond the 9th grade Technical Drawing Class and will expand into the study of Engineering Design. 3 of 11

The lessons will enhance the Student’s hands on training beyond the classroom in the understanding and application of Autocad. 4 of 11

Autocad is a one year required Sophomore class that will develop skills in Problem Solving, Creative Design and Team Work. These skills will be achieved through 2D and 3D Mechanical and Architectural assignments. 5 of 11

Students assigned to room 257 are required to have each day a small I-Pod type headset for daily lessons. 6 of 11

Displayed within and outside of Rm. 257 are completed student Cad drawing samples which are used for comparison. 7 of 11

A library of Technical Reference Texts, Handout Sheets and Classroom Assignment Books are also available. 8 of 11

Students will follow the same decorum in Cad as in any other academic subjects. That is, students will enter the room quickly and quietly, take their assigned seats, launch Autocad and continue on assignments. 9 of 11

Students will take notes on a daily basis particularly on Mondays when formal instructions are presented for the upcoming week’s activity. 10 of 11
