Apuntes 2-3 de junio Los superlativos Superlatives A superlative is the most or least of a category. Mario es el estudiante más listo de la clase. Mario is the smartest student in the class. Almería es la ciudad menos interesante de España. Almería is the least interesting city in Spain.

Superlatives are formed as follows:

The absolute superlative -ísimo/a/os/as is equivalent to extremely, super or very; Este pollo es malísimo. This chicken is extremely bad. Las hamburguesas son buenísimas! The hamburgers are super good!

 Note these spelling changes.
