The Author Shakespeare He wrote this play as a means of entertainment Born in middle class Possibly non-existent as Bacon wrote his work

The Plot With the death of Sir Rowland de Bois, Oliver owns everything his father owned After a brutal fight with a wrestler who was tricked by Oliver, Orlando, Oliver’s younger brother, is told by his servant that Oliver is trying to kill him Orlando is frightened and runs away into the woods with Adam

The Plot (Continued) Duke Senior loses his place as a high official and runs away into the woods Senior’s daughter, Rosalind, is still in court thanks to her indestructible friendship with Celia, who is Fredrick’s Daughter soon runs away into the woods with Rosalind, as Fredrick becomes unkind and takes Rosalind’s job Fredrick hears that his daughter, his cousin, and Orlando disappear together, he is outraged

The Plot (Continued) Fredrick orders Oliver to get Orlando back and if he doesn’t, then he will lose everything he inherited from his father Rosalind and Celia disguise as men and go into a love sick shepherd and later Orlando The shepherd’s girlfriend, Phoebe, falls in love with Rosalind, as everyone thinks she is a young man

The Plot (Continued) Rosalind agrees to marry Phoebe under one condition: if Phoebe decides to not marry her for some reason, then Phoebe must marry Silvius, the shepherd, which she agrees upon Oliver visits Celia, and they fall in love Rosalind shows herself as a man at the wedding and marries Orlando Oliver marries Celia Phoebe marries Silviu They all head back to civilization and lives happily ever after

Thoughts Adam: very disturbing and odd Rosalind: Too smart to be one of the main characters Celia: why fall in love with Oliver and not Orlando? Oliver: why is he talking about his near death experience? Duke Fredrick: What’s is problem?
