PDSA – Plan, Do, Study, Act Three Questions What are we trying to accomplish? How will we know that a change is an improvement? What changes can we make that will result in improvement? 10/10/2014Group 4: Farabaugh, John, Katzovitz, Lott, Patki, Pearce, Snow2

PDSA – Plan, Do, Study, Act Plan: Who will do the work and when? What equipment or training do they need? How will information for assessing success be collected and recorded? When will progress be reviewed? Do: Do the work according to the plan. Record Observations. Study: Study the information gathered. Was the desired outcome achieved? If not what actually happened? Act: Decide what action is needed; for example: Adopt the change permanently. Abandon the change.
