A place to study and experience wildlife habitation and forest restoration.

A place... to examine and render sunrise and sunset landscapes,

... to learn to identify various plants and ecosystems.

... to acquire new skills in art, photography, and orienteering,

... to experience wilderness camping, fishing, canoeing and Maine artisan traditions.

I loved all the wildlife up there in Maine. I wish that I lived here. I did a lot of things with peers. I loved it here. - AD

A Cruise and a Parade

Maine - Well, first of all, was awesome. Where do I start?.... oh yeah the cruise. The cruise on the Katadin was beautiful and relaxing. - JG

I learned much about forestry, along with experiencing open water fishing and trail-blazing. I enjoyed activities with peers. - MC

I did well with interactions with peers showing some leadership. I did some instigating. I had a good time kayaking with Ken. -AW

My experience in Maine was something I will never forget. It taught me that you don’t need electronic game systems, or Ipods. You just need to go outside and use your time to preserve the earth for future generations. - ER
