What is EnviRRRo? EnviRRRo is our Environmental Education programme which aims to inculcate in Anthonians a positive attitude towards caring for and protecting the environment. This is done through increasing pupils’ awareness of environmental issues and green alternatives through talks, learning journeys, the integration of messages into the curriculum and the use of Learning Hubs.

EnviRRRo Framework

Water Conservation in EnviRRRo Since embarking EnviRRRo, the school has rolled out green initiatives both in the curriculum and in its everyday activities. Water consumption has dropped up to 54% since 2006 and we were recognized as a water efficient building in 2008, and received the Watermark award in 2009.

Recycling at SAPS In 2010, we recycled about 3700 kg of paper and plastic. In 2011, we improved to about 4000 kg of paper and plastic.
