Final Project “The Magician” -Scott Fearncombe- WEB201 Web Multi-Media

Premise This could potentially be used as a sample for an animation section of a fun website. This particular animation attempts to display a semi-humorous look at the danger of being THAT guy…the Mr. Know It/Do it All. The story consists of two main characters. The Magician and The Heckler. Naturally, The Heckler thinks anyone can perform magic and intends to demonstrate his mad skills to the audience.

The Beginning We begin the animation with our Magician “floating” to the main stage and performing a couple of tricks before being heckled by a member of the audience.

The Middle The main part of our story shows The Heckler attempting a “hat” trick that goes unexpected as he begins to pull a lion out of a hat instead of a more adorable creature. Out to redeem himself, The Heckler goes for gusto by trying the “guillotine trick” which fails in the worst way possible.

The End The Magician makes his way back to the stage to set things right. After our Magician fixes The Heckler, a truce is made. No sooner do our characters make-up than the miffed lion from the Heckler’s trick chases him away! As the curtains draw to a close, you will get the chance to select a new animation to watch(TBD) or to submit ideas of your own.
