Stephen F. Austin Stephen F. Austin was born in Virginia on November 3, 1793.

Stephen F. Austin When Stephen F. Austin was 11 years old, he went school in Connecticut. He graduated from Transylvania University in Kentucky.

Stephen F. Austin By the age of 27, Stephen F. Austin decided to help his father by moving three-hundred families to settle in Texas. These first settlers of Texas were given the name of the, "Old Three Hundred". OLD 300
