Jeddah is the cosmopolitan capital of Saudi Arabias Western Province and the gate to visitors of the two Holly Mosques in Makkah and Madinah. This symposium is very special as it is jointly organized by our organization (Dr. Erfan & Bagedo Hospital) with its almost 40 years history of contribution to the mental health service in Saudi Arabia, The Saudi Psychiatric Association under the presidency of Dr. Mahdy Al Qahtani and The British Arab Psychiatric Association (BAPA) under the presidency of Dr Saleh El-Hilu. The choice of the theme Arab Psychiatrists Across The Globe: Towards An Integrated Approach For Psychological Wellbeing reflects the desire and need of experts in the field to work together to address the overdue issues of Arab psychological wellbeing. We aim to build bridges of cooperation and establish networks between Arab Psychiatrists across the globe.
