GM Good Or Bad? By: Andrew A, Sarah B, Maddison S and Caroline F

What is “GM Food”  GM stands for Genetically Modified  Our group is against GM Foods  GM Foods are made from GM organisms. The target being modified is having their DNA modified with what ever the scientists want to modify the target with. After the modification the target has 2 types of DNA: the original and the new type. For example: if a scientist wanted to modify an orange it would look like one but if he modified the orange with something it would look like an orange but would taste like an apple. The scientist do this by playing around with the cells of the fruit making it more and more artificial.

Why are we against GM Foods?  We don’t think these foods are good because most of the food they are modifying where real after the modification they are basically mutant fruits or vegetables and who wants to eat fake fruit or vegetables.

Types Of GM Foods GGGGrapple= Apple injected with grape flavoring TTTThe purple tomato= supposed to help fight cancer GGGGM potato easy to shape shift, does not look natural. Very pale looking as apposed to a real one

Our world now  The world now has become a place where when you look on a label of a food it is extremely hard to find no artificial stuff added. You can still find food without these things but it is hard and unhealthy, who wants to live in a artificial world.

Thank you  Thank you for listening to our presentation  By: Andrew  Maddy S  Sarah B  Caroline  From class 8C  Submitted to Ms Kicak IT lab
