Since 1974, #1 Network has focused the collective resources of its individual stockholder dealers on a mission of creating the industry's most impressive product portfolio. Today, #1 Network is clearly America’s fastest growing BRAND. #1 Network brand technologies represent the most advanced and comprehensive portfolio of “High Performance” consumable products. #1 Network products include, but are not limited to: The industry’s most comprehensive portfolio of Inkjet substrates. A wide range of “advanced” Printing Plate Technologies. “Total solution” Press Room Products. The Industry’s Premier Portfolio of “High Performance” Graphic Arts Films! #1 Network’s extensive portfolio of products are carefully designed to maximize production performance, quality and purchasing “value”. #1 Network products are represented by local #1 Network dealers. With nationwide member branches, #1 Network dealers constitute the industry’s largest distribution channel and the nation’s largest “local” technical field force. Through frequent benchmark evaluations and research programs, #1 Network seeks to continually perfect the #1 Network Brand portfolio to set new industry standards. Product formulas and designs are amplified by intellectual properties in areas which may include, but are not limited to, emulsion specifications, improved substrates, unique finishing techniques, and proprietary process performance enhancements. #1 Network’s exclusive dedicated “world class” manufacturing facility is augmented by partnerships with carefully selected premier “outsource” production facilities. #1 Network Brand films, Inkjet substrates and Printing Plate emulsions are coated internationally in the world’s premier, “state of the art” Master Coating facilities! #1 Network Hard Dot. HN/VLD Imagesetting Films. “Double the Choices and Twice… the Performance” #1 Network, Inc., P.O. Box 1627, Effingham, Il (217) Fax (217)

#1 Network Hard Dot HN/VLD Imagesetting Films “Double the Choices and Twice the Performance” From the start, #1 Network product specialists have been at the forefront of Hard Dot product designs. Hard Dot is a “marketing term” for a specific approach to coating silver halide in a film emulsion. Hard Dot films are made possible through unique contrast enhancements, which significantly improve silver utilization. The foundation of this technology is the integration of a special subset of chemicals called hydrazides, which are coated directly into the emulsions. #1 Network emulsion specialists are uniquely knowledgeable in Hard Dot science. From the earliest test coatings, #1 Network specialists were involved in managing elements of these projects.  Hard Dot films are the most recent triumph of photographic emulsion science. While uniquely impressive, the actual sharpness of the dot may be the least difficult aspect of this new emulsion science.  All the good Hard Dot films produce excellent dots and achieve exceptional D-Max.  Unfortunately, these same films with their impressive Hard Dots may also exhibit inherent negative side effects that can often impact quality and productivity.  These issues may include, density shifts, a propensity to exhibit thin black pressure lines, and a rash of tiny black specs that suddenly appear and ruin an otherwise artfully rendered reproduction.  No one knows more about maximizing the performance of Hard Dot films than #1 Network.  Independent tests have established the superiority of #1 Network’s unique approach to Hard Dot science.  Hard Dot films can often exhibit troublesome artifacts. #1 Network’s research has developed systems, which when properly implemented, virtually eliminate the propensity to produce these negative artifacts!  To achieve the ultimate performance in a Hard Dot technology, #1 Network employs an integrated systems approach, utilizing distinctive proprietary #1 Network formulas and processing techniques. “Double the Hard Dot Choices and Twice the Production Performance!” #635 HP Hard Dot Exposure: Exceptionally Fast Practical D Max: Exceptionally high 5.30 #635M HP Hard Dot “Flexo Matte” Exposure: Exceptionally Fast Practical D Max: Exceptionally high 5.30 #601 HP Hard Dot Scanner Film Exposure: Exceptionally Fast Practical D Max: Exceptionally high 5.30 #601M HP Hard Dot “Flexo Matte” Exposure: Exceptionally Fast Practical D Max: Exceptionally high 5.30 These films are uniquely coated with special clear polymer beads on both the emulsion and base side to produce outstanding high speed draw down characteristics. This distinctive feature enhances productivity and image reproduction in high demand productivity environments. #935 HP Hard Dot Exposure: Fast DH Coating*Practical D Max: Very high 5.00 #935 HP Hard Dot “Flexo Matte” Exposure: Fast DH Coating*Practical D Max: Very high 5.00 #901 HP Hard Dot Scanner Film Exposure: Fast DH Coating* Practical D Max: Very high 5.00 These films are coated with a “Diamond Hard” DH overcoat for exceptional resistance to scratching, handling and processing artifacts. “#1 Network guarantees that all #1 Network Films, Printing Plates, and Inkjet substrates will equal or outperform every other brand of equivalent product made anywhere on the planet, when exposed, processed or utilized according to published #1 Network recommendations. If any of these products fail to perform to the customer’s satisfaction, they may return the unused portion for a full refund. “
