Presentation transcript:

Kimberly Scroggins/Janet Gershen-Siegel

 For our final two weeks, we are looking to position ourselves as knowledgeable about the New England music scene.  Continue to push J-Krak presence as New England Independent music artists

 The local music scene includes upcoming events and interesting news stories that impact musicians and music technology companies within the New England states.  It also includes wedding music as the season will be upon us very soon.

 By positioning ourselves as knowledgeable about local musical events, acts, and music technology news, we believe that this will attract some interest from local venues and fans. This could lead to additional bookings for the band.

 Hashtags such as #musicscene and #rhodeislandmusic are being tried, and we will continue using them  We will also tweet and write about The Echo Nest and Spotify as that is the big local music technology news story  Other terms that could work would reference local venues

 We are hoping to reach out to influencers such as radio stations, small local venues, other independent musicians

 Our most successful platforms to date are Facebook, our blog, and Twitter. We will use these, mainly.  Google+ and MySpace will be monitored and Google+ will echo our postings elsewhere

 Increase Facebook reach – measure with Facebook Insights  Increase ow.ly clicks and retweeting and favoriting of tweets – measure with HootSuite reporting  Increase blog reach and engagement – measure with Wordpress statistics or Google Analytics
