Life of The Holy Prophet(SAW) Madni life 1A.H till 2A.H

2 nd Year of Hijrat Battle of Badr

Back Ground The Jealousy of the Quraish Confiscation of the Muhajirin’s properties by Quraish Allah gave the permission to fight Caravan of Abu Suffyan

Events: Abu Sufyan ask for assistance from Quraish. An army of 1000 pagans came to escort him He reached Makkah safely Asked army to return Abu Jahal refused and proceed to fight. Muslims were 313 in number with very little supplies.

Result Individual fights starts Three champions (Hamza,Ali,Abuubaidah) fights with Three Kuffar (Utba,Shaiba,Waleed) Common fight starts Muslim won.

Result/Importance Kuffar lost 70 men including their prominent leader,70 were wonded. Muslims lost 14 men,six Muhajirin and eight ansars. With the victory in the Battle of Badr Muslims emerged as new power Kuffar wanted the Vengence.
