Writing Trait Introduction: Ideas Focus on Ideas Good ideas are clear and interesting thoughts that writers share with readers.

Ideas can be thoughts, facts, opinions, or details. Writing Trait Introduction: Ideas Ideas tell Who? My dad What? My dad made dinner. When? My dad made dinner last night. Where? My dad made dinner at our house last night. Why? My mom was out of town, so my dad made dinner at our house last night. How? My mom was out of town, so my dad made dinner at our house last night. Since dad can’t cook, he ordered pizza! Ideas can be thoughts, facts, opinions, or details.
