King Tyrone, how do we lift the plague?! I have sent my dear brother-in- law, Jarome to the Oracle, Shanay-nay to find out what to do. Once in a land far, far away there was a kingdom infected by plague.

Upon his return Jarome announces the oracles instructions to the king. So I went to Shany-nay and she was like “Yo, dog. Listen, you gotta go and you gotta find the dude who killed King Jaquan and then you throw that dude in jail and that ends the plauge.”

King Tyrone sets out to solve this mystery but first summoning the blind prophet Devnate. At first she refuses to speak but then tell the king that he was the one who killed King Jaquan. Girl, you crazy. What you mean I killed the king. I ain’t even know that dude. Not only did you kill King Jaquan, you done married your mamma! Now you gonna have a future of blindness, infamy, and wandering!

Dashaquitra, you ain’t my mom, right? Tyrone, listen. Them prophets, they cray. They don’t know what they talking about. One prophet done told me that Jaquan was gonna die at the hands of our son, but our son died as a baby. Ain’t no way he could have killed him. Jaquan died at the hands of some robber.

Tyrone becomes distressed by Dashquisha’s comments because just before he came to ‘Da Hood he killed a man that resembeled Jaquan and the he remembers what an oracle once told him. Well, an oracle once fated me I was destined to kill my dad and marry my mom… I’m telling you, don’t worry ‘bout it.

Tyrone soon learns learns that his father, King Jamar, has died of old age. Oh lord, we gonna have to have a celebration. This mean that is not true! You ain’t gotta worry no more.! What if I still end up marrying my mamma?!

Overhearing the king and queens conversation the messenger offers up, what he thinks would cheering news, that King Jamar and his queen aren’t really King Tyrome’s parents. He knows this because he was the messenger that delivered Tyrome to the royal couple after a shepherd had offered him the abandoned baby. This leaves Tryome pondering the origin of his birth and he becomes determined to track down the shepherd. Although Queen Dashaquitra becomes very emotional and begs him not to he finds the Shepherd. You know, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but…….King Jaquan and Queen Dashaqutria are your real parents.. Oh my goodness, I’m married to my mom. I killed my dad. My prophecy came true.

Tryone rushes to the places to find that the queen has killed herself. In a panic he takes pins from Dashaquitra’s gown and rakes out his eyes, no longer able to look upon all of the misery he has caused. He begs Jarome to kill him, but Jarome refuses. Now I await the oracles decision on weather I get to stay….or have to leave ‘Da Hood forever..
