RavensNest 60 Channel Intelligent Video Solution The RavensNest is an enhanced video command and control platform that transforms any centralized analog installation into a leading IP surveillance system. This scalable solution controls up to 60 truly intelligent video channels at 4CIF resolution & full frame rate. The Chassis contains up to 60 Raven HXi 104 intelligent video servers that are connected by a custom carrier card to the back plane module. The RavensNest modular design, allows various assembly options. The RavensNest is a 3U 19" rack mount chassis that provides the perfect solution for high density video installations. The powerful state of the art encoder system connects up to 60 video channels through its rear panel BNC connectors. Each video input connects to one of the Raven HXi 104 server boards that are nested in the chassis. The encoded intelligent video is transmitted on one of the 60 Ethernet ports on the front panel. The RavensNest enables full control (PTZ) of the camera inputs through the 60 RS- 422 outputs on the rear panel. The RavensNest provides the redundancy and management capabilities needed in today's surveillance market. Maintainability is achieved with an SNMP device that allows the constant monitoring of the temperature, power supplies voltages, fan RPM rotation and the monitoring of each channels performance. Redundancy is accomplished with redundant power supplies, fans, switches and cables. A hot swap feature for each channel is provided. A failure in any part of the system can be reported through the Ethernet to the control station.
