GUIDELINES ON THE PREPARATION OF DAILY LESSONS DepEd Order No. 70, s. 2012

* SY 2012-2013 onward * Public Elementary and Secondary Teachers * DepEd adopts flexibility in the preparation of DLP * To allow teachers to prepare IMs and student-centered activities

Use TEACHERS GUIDE (G1 & 7) and TEACHERS MANUAL, TEXTBOOKS AND SUPPLEMENTARY MATERIALS

Do other meaningful teaching-related tasks such as preparing instructional aids, assessing learners’ portfolios, conducting learning interventions, and others.

Two or more years teaching experience SHALL NOT BE REQUIRED TO PREPARE Detailed Lesson Plan (DLP) ***************** adopt Daily Lesson Log (DLL)

Daily Lesson Log (DLL) entries: Lesson cited in the TG/TM reference materials with page number Learners’ Materials used with page number reference Remarks showing No. of learners within Mastery level and No. of learners needing enrichment Other activities interventions given to learners who did not master previous day’s lesson

Modification/deviation may be made from the TGs/TMs to suit learners’ ability provided learning standards and competencies are met.

Teachers are encouraged to enhance the TGs to provide activities that will develop HIGHER THINKING SKILLS.

DLPs/DLLs shall be written in the language of the TGs/TMs * DLPs/DLLs shall be written in the language of the TGs/TMs. Grade 1 teachers need not translate them to vernacular. However, use of Mother Tongue as medium of instruction must be strictly followed.
