 Book Hook to teach targeted comprehension skills Students are exposed to a small snippet of high quality literature to teach the comprehension skill targeted for that lesson. Higher order thinking questions are used to promote critical thinking by using SEMR bookmarks. Mini- Lesson

 online newspaper for young readers  age range 3-10 years  access to Fairy Tales, Myths and Legends, Poetry, original works and audio books Free Web Resources for Online Reading

 Middle school and classic literature Books for every age

  Both of these sites use celebrities to read to children- great motivation strategy!

 A live binder from KB Konnected with multiple literary resources  National Geographic Explorer issues for students with teacher resources attached to each issue.
