ABC-CLIO Click the All Databases box off, and just use the Issues database Find your issue under issue, click on it The screen is now about your issue, and features a background article On the left are other articles: Overview, Current View & Outlook, Discussion, Articles, Media, Visuals, Maps, & Flags, Documents, Facts & Figures, Timeline, Glossary Terms Current View & OutlookDiscussionArticles, Media, Visuals, Maps, & Flags, Documents, Facts & FiguresTimelineGlossary Terms

Opposing ViewPoints Go to Browse Issues Choose the Health and Medicine category The opening article is a Reference article. The reference articles are factual. The Viewpoint articles take one side of the policy debate or the other There are no passwords for Opposing Viewpoints in school. At home, use Empirelink

What you will have trouble with Democratic and Republican positions: they are a moving target, though you can categorize them I am posting the 2012 party platforms adopted at the August convention to help you with the official position, but if you read the NPR article, you will see that party platforms are not that important

More Info This Powerpoint presentation and the web sites will be posted on the Library Web Page, which you can access via the Library Home Page. Don’t confuse the two!
