Advanced Treatment Plans Presented By: Travis Waters

Introduction Existing Treatment Plans Possible Enhancements Hands-On Example Q & A

Existing Treatment Plan Structure Treatment Plan – Domains Dimensions – Dimension Reviews/Notes – Goals » Goal Tasks » Goal Reviews – Modifiers – Behavioral Definitions Domain Reviews/Notes – Plan Reviews/Notes

Possible Enhancements Can tailor treatment plans for case flows instead of, or in addition to, plan flows Use person data, diagnoses or assessments to determine domains & dimensions or assign your own domains and dimensions Can use existing structure of treatment plans, but can manipulate how things are shown and entered Can add new information to a treatment plan

Treatment Plan Integration Options Treatment plans can be integrated with other areas of RiteTrack. – Case Flows – Person Information – Diagnoses – Assessments

Treatment Plans and Case Flows Case logic is used to trigger the automatic generation of treatment plans based upon virtually any criteria. Case logic can also verify information entered in a treatment plan. – A review must be added to the treatment plan before a completion event is generated.

Treatment Plans and Person Information Person Data – Treatment plans can be created based upon virtually any information entered on a person, such as Mental health history Substance abuse history Criminal charges

October – The Stanley Hotel – Estes Park, Colorado Treatment Plans and Person Information Example If Person has Academic Hx in last year where GPA is below 2.0 – Domain : Intellectual – Dimension : School Engagement – Modifiers : Risk and Need If Person has Academic Hx in last year where GPA is above 3.0 – Domain : Intellectual – Dimension : School Engagement – Modifiers : Strength If Person has current Substance Abuse History where Date Last Taken is within last 2 months – Domain : Substance Abuse – Dimension : Risk Behaviors – Modifiers : Risk – Need : if last taken in the last 1 month

October – The Stanley Hotel – Estes Park, Colorado Treatment Plans and Diagnoses Clinical diagnosis of a client is often used as a basis for a treatment plan. RiteTrack can generate recommended treatment modalities based upon information from a DSM-IV diagnosis. Define the rules once and RiteTrack can apply them to X number of clients. This function can eliminate the necessity of having a credentialed medical health professional on staff to validate treatment plans.

October – The Stanley Hotel – Estes Park, Colorado Treatment Plans and Diagnosis Example A treatment plan is generated with a substance abuse domain if Axis I or Axis II diagnoses include any of the following categories – 291 – Alcohol Abuse – 292 – Drug Abuse – – Drug Dependence If Axis IV diagnosis includes educational problems, then a treatment plan is generated with a domain of intellectual and dimensions/factors of – School Engagement – Achievement Motivation A single treatment plan with both domains is created if both criteria are met.

Treatment Plan Interface Options The components of RiteTrack treatment plans are part of a toolbox that can be utilized and interfaced in different ways. Although the interface may be modified, the underlying structure remains the same, preserving the design intent and structure of the whole system.
