In some of the poems that we will soon read, the speaker both longs for those he/she loves, then prefers solitude. Think, pair, share: 1. What is the difference between loneliness and solitude? (If you’re struggling, consult a dictionary). 2. Is solitude important? Explain your response in a couple of sentences.

 Homework: Work on Key Terms Study Guide!  Reminder: If I don’t have a needed portfolio assignment before 1 st lunch, you will not be able to submit it.  Question: A trip next spring break?
