This step is optional. These instructions also serve as the sample PowerPoint template for creating your presentation. Use Bold text on white (clear) background. Minimum font size is 20pt. 4/11 Introduction: Electronic Presentation at IRPS Software to use: –Use only Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 and above. If you have prepared your presentation in another version of PowerPoint, please convert it to PowerPoint 2007.pptx or above. –There is no maximum number of slides Your presentation will be 20 min + 5min for Questions and Answers Make sure you have the correct number of slides to meet the 20 min talk Rehearse your presentation for time prior to the Symposium Minimum font size is 20pt

9/11 Animation/Video Animation or video is only acceptable when important to the technical content of the presentation –Figure animation is acceptable, such as adding arrows, circles, or data/test highlights, to the figures. All critical information and main message should be on the initial layered view of a slide that has a layered figure animation structure –Text animation is not acceptable, such as bullets coming in one after another, or text appearing sequentially –If exception to this policy is necessary, check with the presentations and/or A/V chair in advance

10/11 Before The Symposium Please contact your Session Chair and Manuscript Mentor and have them review your presentation. Name your electronic presentation file S##-p#_LastName.pptx where S##-p# is the paper identifier (Session Number,ie, s2Bp3) as listed in the preliminary program, and LastName is the last name of the presenting author. For example, if your name is John Smith and your paper is 2B.3, name your presentation s2Bp3_Lee.pptx. Upload your final presentation to the InControl website by April 7. This is the same website that you uploaded your final manuscript. Bring your final presentation to the conference on a USB memory stick. Bring a hard copy printout of your presentation for the author's corner. Specific instructions regarding the author’s corner set-up will be provided to you as the Symposium approaches.

11/11 At the Symposium Upload your final presentation on the computer in the AV Preparation Room the day before your session. Review your presentation to insure the figures, formatting and fonts are correct and legible. Review the A/V equipment either the night before or on the morning of your presentation so that you are familiar with the controls.

12/11 Author’s Corner All oral presenters are expected to participate in the Author's Corner immediately following their session. These lively sessions (an IRPS tradition since 1982) allow for one-on-one interaction with the attendees.

13/11 Conclusions When preparing your IRPS PowerPoint presentation, follow these A/V Standards from the start Ask questions early in the process to avoid wasting time.
