High School SE Activity Biology 2.E By: Mr. Moya and Ms. Elizondo

STUDENT EXPECTATION B.2.E ◦Plan and implement descriptive, comparative and experimental investigations, including asking questions, formulating testable hypothesis, and selecting equipment and technology.

ACTIVITY GOAL: Graphic Organizers: ◦Students will create foldable graphic organizers that will include laboratory equipment. Pictures will be provided along with other materials for references. Students will either cut and paste images or draw pictures of the equipment on one side, then name/describe purpose of equipment on the opposite side. ◦Graphic organizers will be used as a study tool to prepare them for a “equipment quiz” taken at lab stations.
