 PRODUCT: W HAT YOU ARE DOING  PAPER: PART OF ENG IV GRADE, NLT 6 PAGES IN LENGTH NOT INCLUDING CITATIONS. RESEARCH, THESIS STATEMENT, AND CITATIONS ARE REQUIRED  PORTFOLIO: DOCUMENTATION OF YOUR WORK. MOST OF THIS WILL BE SUBMITTED ONLINE WITH A SMALL VERIFYING PORTFOLIO FOR JUDGES  PRESENTATION : STUDENTS WILL GIVE AN 8-10 MINUTE PRESENTATION OF PRODUCT IN FRONT OF A PANEL OF SELECTED JUDGES

 PORTFOLIO: THE PORTFOLIO WILL BE SMALLER IN CONTENT. MOST FORMS WILL BE FOUND AND TURNED IN ON EDMODO/GOOGLE DOCS SITE.  FACULTY MEMBERS WILL BE ALLOWED TO SERVE AS MENTORS. THIS IS UP TO FACULTY MEMBER AS SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT.  LESS PAPERWORK

SIMPLY PUT, THIS IS WHAT YOU ARE DOING, FROM BUILDING A SURFBOARD, TO DESIGNING A CAR, TO CUTTING HAIR, TO CREATING A LEADERSHIP SEMINAR, TO DESIGNING A TIME MACHINE. WHAT IS THE DESIRED OUTCOME OF YOUR RESEARCH AND WORK?

 MUST BE 6-8 PAGES IN LENGTH  MUST HAVE AN APPROVED THESIS STATEMENT  MUST SHOW RESEARCH AND CITE SOURCES  THE GP PAPER WILL BE SUBMITTED AND BE A PART OF THE STUDENT’S ENG IV CLASS GRADE  THE COMPLETED FINAL DRAFT OF THE PAPER WILL BE CHECKED AND THE FINAL APPROVAL SHEET WILL BE SIGNED BY THE ENGLISH TEACHER OR FACULTY MEMBER. .

 THIS IS WHERE MOST OF THE CHANGES WILL OCCUR THIS YEAR  MOST FORMS WILL BE SUBMITTED ONLINE THROUGH EDMODO.  ALL SENIORS MUST JOIN EDMODO GROUP THROUGH SCHOOL WEBSITE. A MINIMUM OF THE FOLLOWING: TABLE OF CONTENTS PERSONAL RESUME, THANK YOU LETTER TO JUDGES, PRODUCT PICS AND MENTOR JOURNALS, RESEARCH PAPER APPROVAL FORM,

 NO LESS THAN 8-10 MINS IN LENGTH  STUDENTS WILL PRESENT IN FRONT OF JUDGES PANEL OR WITH FACULTY MEMBERS AS SITUATIONS REQUIRE  STUDENT SHOULD DO AT LEAST TWO REHEARSALS WITH FACULTY MEMBERS VERIFYING TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR PRESENTATION

 STUDENTS WHO ARE HABITUALLY NOT MEETING DEADLINES MAY FORFEIT LATER ARRIVAL/EARLY RELEASE IN LIEU OF MANDATORY STUDY HALL  POSSIBLE LOSS OF PARKING SPACE  POSSIBLE LOSS OF HOMECOMING, SENIOR TRIP, PROM,  FAILURE TO GRADUATE/FAILURE OF GRADE
