Update on Transforming Course Design Collaborations for High Impact, Low Success courses Design and Review Teams launched Developmental Math (12 campuses) General Chemistry (10 campuses) Creating collaborative processes and workspaces

Each subject area has a collaborative workspace:

Currently the website is for team members only:

The workspace allows members to track their tasks and latest developments:

Including an evolving guide to collaborative Transforming Course Design:

Features and examples have been added as the teams’ needs emerge:

Each team member selects/is assigned specific task pages to design/review: products will be placed in a public space for comment by other colleagues, and eventually in a Teaching Commons for use across the CSU: Course Structures, Learning Activities, Resources for students, faculty, TAs + instructional rationales and evidence to explain, guide and promote use.

Update on Transforming Course Design Campus-based projects 5 new proposals (4 from last year’s Planning Grants) Under review: Bakersfield, Dominguez Hills Monterey Bay, Sacramento Approved: Stanislaus Collaborations for High Impact, Low Success courses Design and Review Teams launched Developmental Math (12 campuses) General Chemistry (10 campuses) Creating collaborative processes and workspaces
