Explanation about three ways to obtain CD emissions in the present GTR and a proposal for the amendment E-Lab group WLTP-07-16e

Emissions in CD mode for OVC-HEV are described in three sections in the present GTR. (1)Annex 8: Each individual full WLTC in the CD test shall fulfil the applicable exhaust emission limits. (2)Annex 8: CD mode emissions (3)Annex 8: weighted emissions CD test emissions in the GTR

SOC length Transition cycle CD modeCS mode 1st2nd3rd4th (1)Annex 8: requires to check individual cycle emissions ( in the figure) => Japan supports (2) Annex 8: provides weighted CD mode emissions ( in the figure) (3) Annex 8: provides weighted CD and CS mode emissions => ACEA needs it to obtain fleet emissions Emissions of a blended-operation OVC-HEV CD test emissions in the GTR

Proposal for the issue OIL #54 <weighted emission in CD mode) 1)Section (CD mode emissions) in Annex 8 is deleted. 2) Section (weighted emissions) in Annex 8 is kept. (Annex 8: is kept.) If weighted CD mode emissions ( ) is not requested by any CPs, e-Lab proposes followings. e-Lab’s proposal for the amendment
